브루나이의 최초 장편영화는 국가종교부에서 제작되었고, 1968년 초연되었습니다. 하지만 영화에 사용되었던 언어는 표준 말레이어로, 브루나이의 일상언어가 아니었습니다. 이후 국내영화라고는 찾아볼 수 없었던 브루나이극장에 2013년, 저희 회사에서 제작한 ‘아파덴간리나’ 라는 국내 제작영화가 상영하게 됩니다.

2022년 제 3회 ‘한-아세안 문화혁신 포럼’ 이 라오스 비엔티안에서 개최되었다. 한국과 아세안 간 상호 이해와 협력을 증진하기 위해 개최된 이번 포럼은, ‘문화를 통한 회복, 다시 도약하는 한-아세안人’을 주제로, 여러 문화예술 및 문화산업 관계자들의 참석하여 다양한 경험을 공유하고 함께 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
